Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AlBright ("we", "us", "our"), a web & software studio based in Monaghan, Ireland, collects and uses your personal data when you visit our website or contact us. We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Data controller: AlBright, Monaghan, Ireland. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Enquiry details you submit through our contact form: your name, your email or phone number, what you need, and your message.
- Technical data automatically logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability, such as IP address and browser type.
- Aggregate analytics about page visits, collected without cookies and without identifying you personally.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To keep the site secure and working — our legitimate interest in protecting the website.
- To understand and improve the site — our legitimate interest, using privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who we share it with
We only share data with service providers that help us run the site, acting as our processors:
- Resend — delivers contact-form emails to us.
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, DNS, email routing and security.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the United States). Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting project or relationship, after which they are deleted. Server and security logs are kept for a short period and then rotated out.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- data portability.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Cookies
We use only what is strictly necessary to run the site and keep it secure, and our analytics are cookieless. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
